Who is Allah?

“It is Allah who made for you the earth a place of settlement and the sky a ceiling and formed you and perfected your forms and provided you with good things. That is Allah , your Lord; then blessed is Allah , Lord of the worlds.”

(40:64)

Who is Allah? The giver of life, the bringer of death. The blessed, most majestic. Beloved of those who love, hope for the rejected, who’s mercy encompasses everything. Any image that comes to your mind know that isn’t Allah. Any colour or shape; Allah is beyond the perception of his creation. He is Allah. He is perfect and magnificent and to him shall we return.

You sinned, and Allah forgave you, you sinned again and Allah forgave you again, then you sinned again and again and you keep sinning yet Allah forgives and forgives and keeps forgiving for Allah loves to forgive. He is the one, the irresistible. While everyone else was created in pairs. He is himself one. He is as he has praised himself. He took you from your mother’s womb and guided you to love him and where would you be right now had Allah not guided you? What misguidance or haram would you be indulging in right now? Only allah knows your sins and he covered them and kept them away from mankind so thank Allah before you become desperate and your affairs become apparent to all.

Do you not look around at society and see all those who have been left to go astray? Those who find no purpose or meaning so they are never truly content. Those who search but find no answers and those who wont even listen to the truth. And still, even amongst the believers there are those gone astray yet Allah has held on to you and granted you guidance so be grateful continuously and never cease in gratitude. You are from a minority, and within that minority is another minority; they are a select few, chosen by Allah specifically to be close to him. They are Allah’s chosen people from amongst all of this ummah. Ahl Al Quran.

You cannot love someone who you don’t know nor can you show them true appreciation. Through the quran a slave gets to know Allah and his magnamity and through the quran Allah guides and misguides; and through the quran Allah brings his slaves closer to him. Through the quran Allah raises and lowers the status of a man in dunya and akhira. So strive to be close to the quran and ask allah to make you from its people. The people of the quran. so thay you may know Allah and engulf yourself in his love, dhikr and worship and forgo being deceived by this world. Know that the dunya and it’s troubles are only a deception for a short time. Bare the hardship for some days and live by Allah’s side for eternity.
