[Ibne `Abbas states:] “I questioned the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family): Which deed is the most beloved in the eyes of Allah, the Mighty, the Glorious?” He (peace be upon him and his family) replied: “(Offering) prayers at their stipulated times.” I then asked: “Which is the next most beloved deed?” He (peace be upon him and his family) answered: “Goodness towards (one’s) parents.” I asked him again: “After this which is the most beloved act?” He (peace be upon him and his family) انہوں نے کہا کہ: “Jihad in the way of Allah.”

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) انہوں نے کہا کہ:

Every action a son of Adam does shall be multiplied—a good action by ten times its value, up to 700 times. اللہ کا کہنا ہے کہ: With the exception of fasting, which belongs to Me, and I reward it accordingly. For, one abandons his desire and food for My sake.

There are two occasions of joy for a fasting person: one when he breaks his fast, and the other when he meets his Lord, and the (bad) breath (of a fasting person) is better in the sight of Allah than the fragrance of musk.

Once I went up the roof of the mosque, along with Abu Huraira. He perform ablution and said,

“I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, “On the Day of Resurrection, my followers will be called “Al-Ghurr-ul- Muhajjalun” from the trace of ablution and whoever can increase the area of his radiance should do so (i.e. by performing ablution regularly).’ ”

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad (peace be upon him) is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world.”
Sahih al-Bukhari, پرواز. 3, Book 46, حدیث 1

صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم (peace be upon him) انہوں نے کہا کہ: “A man might speak a word without thinking about its implications, but because of it, he will plunge into the Hellfire further than the distance between the east and west.” [ Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim ]

Al-Nawawî comments on the meaning of this hadith, saying: “This hadith encourages us to guard our tongues. A person who wants to speak should think upon what he is about to say before he utters it. If it then shows itself to have some benefit to it, he may speak it; otherwise he should refrain from doing so.”

Abû Hurayrah relates that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) انہوں نے کہا کہ: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak a good word or remain silent. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest.” [ Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim ]

“No good is there in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or that which is right, or bring reconciliation between people. And whoever does that seeking Allah’s pleasure, then we shall grant him a great reward.” [ Sûrah al-Nisâ’ : 114

صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم (Sallallähu alaihi wa sallam) انہوں نے کہا کہ, “None of you who uses water for ablution and rinses his mouth, snuffs up water and blows it, but the sins of his face, and his mouth and his nostrils fall out.

When he washes his face, as Allah has commanded him, the sins of his face fall out from the end of his beard with water.

پھر (when) he washes his forearms up to the elbows, the sins of his arms fall out along with water from his finger-tips.

And when he wipes his head, the sins of his head fall out from the points of his hair along with water.

اور (when) he washes his feet up to the ankles, the sins of his feet fall out from his toes along with water.

And if he stands to pray and praises Allah, lauds Him and glorifies Him with what becomes Him and shows wholehearted devotion to Allah, his sins would depart leaving him as he was on the day his mother bore him.”
